Britta Hansen has been active in the German television and film industry for over 25 years. She currently works as a freelance producer for Ziegler Film and is also involved in the international co-production VANISHED with Red Pony Pictures/ZikZak Filmworks, which is scheduled to begin filming in early 2026.

Based in Berlin, Britta Hansen has primarily focused on productions for broad audiences while continuously expanding her portfolio under her label hansen.film. She remains a remote member of chez company, formed from the merger of danckwart & hansen.film (GbR).

In recent years, Britta has also worked occasionally as a lecturer in the field of film production, most recently teaching at IFSS Berlin in spring 2025.
